Did anyone else see Michelle Kwan on the Today
Show this morning? She looks amazing! She was asked if she
had made a decision regarding trying to compete at the Olympics
in 2010 to try to win an Olympic gold medal and she said that
all doors she's left open so if she wants to she could, but
she hasn't decided just yet. She did acknowledge that she
needs to make a decision soon since the Vancouver Olympics
are about a year and a half away. I hope that she gives it
one more try and wins it.

I added my rather disturbing, creepy collage "Dahn
Scuggett". This is what happens when I'm really, really
bored and don't know what to do in Photoshop.

I added scans of mine and Kristi's "I Want To Believe"
autograph and pieceworks cards. I added scans (provided
by MiZuNo, fellow X-Fu) of the U.K. X-Files pamphlet. Also
I added a large, good quality, image of Mulder and Scully
that is featured on the "I Want To Believe" UK
poster.

Pictures of Gillian Anderson at both the Los Angeles and
London "I Want To Believe" premieres. Pictures
from her appearance on Leno and shots of her outside of
her appearance on Letterman. Headshot portraits of Gillian
from the "I Want To Believe" press junket. Photoshoot

(thank you!). I also added pictures of Robert Patrick at
the CBS TCA Party back in July, and screen captures of Robert
in "The Unit" season one episode "Exposure".
I haven't done actual site updates at Semper Fi, We Shall
Not Forget or Tony & Michelle Almeida in a long time,
but that doesn't mean that I won't. By the end of September
expect updates at each of those sites.
I'll get back into consistent (or at least I hope consistent)
updates as soon as the 2008 Beijing Olympics are over. I'm
a HUGE Olympics geek (and proud of it) and am typically glued
to whatever network is covering the Games in my freetime (that
or I'm shopping online at usolympicshop.com
LOL I got myself the same jacket that you saw Michael Phelps
wear when he stood on the podium to receive his Olympic gold
medals).

I just wanted to alert you all to a link to
an online petition for those of us who want to see a third
"The X-Files" movie. Check
out this petition and sign it, let your voice be heard
that you want and will pay to see a third movie! Make mention
of Doggett if you'd like to let them know that there are fans
out there who want to see Doggett in the third movie.

comments about "I Want To Believe" on my blog. You
can read it here. Fair warning... it was better than I
expected it to be, overall I enjoyed the movie.

I can hardly believe that there's only two
more days until the new X-Files movie is in theatres. There's
a midnight showing in my area but I'm going to sit out on
that one, I'll go see it at the earliest morning showing to
avoid a mass amount of people in theatres (as I do with all
other movies that I go see). I admit that my expectations
are very low for this movie, I expect to be disappointed with
how Mulder and Scully are written, and I expect to at least
enjoy the casefile. I expect to give it one star out of five,
but I hope I leave the theatre with a better impression of
the movie. I am a fan of "The X-Files" and I feel
I should be excited about this new movie, but I'm not. If
it came out tomorrow, a month from now, three years from now
the anticipation is not there for me. Well... except for maybe
hearing Mark Snow's X-Files score in a big theatre :)
I have more images to add to Those Sexy Blues and Serenity
of X, but I'm having a lazy week when it comes to updating
sites so look for those sometime next week.
I changed the graphics of my site (again) since I'm getting
back into making DVDs out of my figure skating VHS tapes.
The skater featured in my graphic is Michelle Kwan, my favorite
skater. For fun I've uploaded the HQ version of that picture
for any other Kwan fans to download. Get
it here.
Anyway... after I see "I Want To Believe" I'll
post my comments about it on my
blog. If I really, really, really like the movie you'll
see me post about it on public forums. Otherwise I'll keep
my comments about it on here where I don't think many others
will read them.
I want to believe that I'll enjoy XF2.
