Artwork

I've been creating graphic artwork in Photoshop since 1999. I never took a course in how to use Photoshop. I taught myself through trial and error processes. Most of my graphic pieces are from "The X-Files" but I have included my non-XF work here as well for you to enjoy.

Collages

Collaging is my favorite computer past-time. When I've exhausted my To Do List for the day and have bored myself rotten checking my e-mail, and swung by all my daily internet stops (which is actually quite a short list), I'll typically open up Photoshop and muck around. Sometimes a collage I create works out and it winds up on this site and other times my PSD files get buried (sometimes never to be touched again) on my external harddrive.

Manipulations

I got into doing manipulations sometime after the end of "The X-Files" series. I felt that there was never enough promotional stills of Doggett and Scully together so I decided to make new Doggett/Scully images myself. I do have other manipulations that are not Doggett/Scully, two fan favorites being Skinner and Krycek doing ballet.

Wallpapers

When I first got online back in 1998 I used to rely on other graphic artists for desktop wallpapers. As my tastes in "The X-Files" fandom changed I came to realize that no one really makes any XF wallpapers that I would enjoy so once I got Photoshop and got motivated enough I started making my own wallpapers. It's very, very rare that I'll use wallpapers made by anyone else anymore. Though it does happen from time to time.

Icons/Avatars

I joined LiveJournal back in 2003 and told myself I'd never get caught up with all the hype surrounding creating 100x100 pixel icons. I used to just save icons from other icon makers and use those, then... as with my wallpaper story... I needed to make my own so I could have icons of images and pairings that I enjoyed that other icon makers did not create. My Doggett/Scully section is very large and I've even cut down on the amount of icons I have archived here, versus the actual amount of DSR icons that I've made.

Banners

I haven't made a lot of banners or color banners. Currently that's not something that speaks to my creative muse. Rest assured that when I do make banners they will be archived on my site. They'll probably be banners to support a subject that isn't widely popular in a fandom.

I created this manipulation for the Goofy Spooky section of the "Fox & Rat" Virtual Series Official Forum. John and Dana were married in the second FRVS movie, "Save The Future", and the happy couple needed some wedding pictures taken. I was happy to oblige. Here is the first original image and here is the second.
