Essay: "Potential, Possibilities, and Respect" by Dana Doggett
The Doggett/Scully relationship is my favorite pairing on “The X-Files” because I enjoy watching mature, respectful, and realistic relationship pairings on TV. This almost never happens though so I allowed myself to fall in love with the potential and possibilities that the Doggett/Scully relationship could have brought to the series and to the development of both characters.

Theory: Doggett Is The Father Timeline
Having a little fun with the timeline in season 8 which proves that there's no way in H.E. double hockey sticks that Mulder could be the father of the baby Scully gave birth to in "Existence", this timeline takes a look at season 8 as if Doggett is the father of the baby born to Scully. Thank you Chris Carter & Co. for the timestamps given in season 8 episodes, without them this timeline and possibility of Doggett being the father would not exist.
