I apologize for the lack of updates since the end of November. I've been job hunting (still, it's getting quite annoying that there's nothing out there for me), and when I'm not doing that I'm working on a complete re-design of mine and Little Albatross's X-Files website, Serenity of X (due to be back online March 1, 2010). Once that hurdle is met, then I promise you that I'll be back to updating Semper Fi with more content.

Don't forget to get in your submissions for the current creative challenges!

SHODDS FANFIC CHALLENGE
Even though SHODDS is now at Semper Fi, I do want to continue to come up with SHODDS specific fanfic challenges, separate from the creative challenges posted and archived at the main Semper Fi website. I came up with this fanfic challenge awhile back and forgot to post it to the SHODDS list, so here it is. I hope that you guys have fun with it.

I'm going back through the years and looking at old fanfic challenges that received no responses and re-posting the challenges to see if they inspire new authors or fans to participate and submit responses. I've brought back the Island Adventure Challenge from 2005 (in which I actually have an outline written up for my response somewhere in a storage box). Details of this fanfic challenge are below:

- Must be Doggett/Scully relationship/romance.
- Include a gift.
- Include Doggett and Scully's first kiss.
- Someone overreacts about something.
- Casefile on an island is your location.
- Doggett or Scully must suffer an injury.
- A dinner date.

Which scene would you have most liked to have seen shown on the series with regard to the relationship between Doggett and Scully?

The development of the relationship/friendship between Doggett and Scully in the three months in which Mulder was dead.

A heart-to-heart discussion between Doggett and Scully (about life, children and heartache) after William was given up to adoption.

A sex scene, Scully was hormonal and Doggett is hot afterall (and falling in love with her), why shouldn't she have had sex with him?

A better goodbye scene between D&S at the end of "The Truth". It would have been nice to see Scully acknowledge all Doggett has done and sacrificed for she and Mulder.

In IWTB, Doggett coming with Skinner to help Scully find Mulder, and a scene just between he and Scully after Mulder is taken to a hospital.
