John Doggett In XF3 Please
Get Your Voice Heard

No official announcement has been made yet about whether or not a third "The X-Files" movie will or will not be made, but that doesn't mean we can't get our voices heard and let Chris Carter, Frank Spotnitz, 20th Century Fox and other X-Philes know that we want to see John Doggett included in a third possible "The X-Files" movie, in a main role, and a key part. What we don't want to see is the Doggett character treated like Skinner was in the second "The X-Files" movie, "I Want To Believe", barely seen and without purpose. We want to see John Doggett in as an important role as Mulder and Scully, nothing more and nothing less than that.

HOW TO GET YOUR VOICE HEARD

1) Doggett In XF3 Banners - Please use any of these graphics to show your support of having John Doggett included in any possible third "The X-Files" movie. Display the banners proudly on your own website, journals, forum signatures, etc. Whatever you do with them, make them seen, show that interest is out there for Doggett to be included as a main character.

2) Frank Spotnitz provides an e-mail address that fans can send him comments and thoughts on any of the projects he has helped produce, including "The X-Files". You can contact him through this e-mail address and let him know how much you love the John Doggett character and let him know that if there is a third "The X-Files" movie you want to see the Doggett character used as much as the Mulder and Scully characters. Be aware that from time to time Frank will post e-mails he receives on his Big Light blog (aka "mail bag"). Here is Frank's e-mail, I'm quoting the information from his contact page, let him know how much you want to see John Doggett on the big screen:

3) I've started a discussion thread at the Big Light Network, it's called "Doggett In XF3 Please" and my hope is that we can keep the thread active and at the top of The X-Files discussion folder. Please join Big Light Network today and start posting in this thread. You can view the thread here. Big Light is Frank Spotnitz's official website so it may be a great idea to keep the discussions about Doggett in XF3 as some of the most popular.

4) XFN alongside over 35 X-Files and 1013 fans groups and organizations have joined together to create and run a campaign that will show 20th Century Fox our desire for a third X-Files movie. This campaign, named "Believe in the Future" has been structured in phases calling out to fans and general enthusiasts to join into this "XF3 Army" and help us promote this initiative.

Supporting the XF3 Army is pretty simple. All you have to do is check out the phases that we have as part of the campaign and join in any of the activities of your liking. POSTER CONTEST
To help get more fans involved We Shall Not Forget is holding its first Doggett In XF3 poster contest. Depending on participation this may be the first in a number of different Doggett In XF3 contests.

Due Date: October 1, 2009

- Doggett must be included in your design, but other characters can be included.
- The theme of the poster must be the 2012 prophesy/alien invasion/xf mytharc.
- Dimensions must be 700x1000 pixels.
- You may use any images you'd like, do not limit yourself to XF images only.
- Movie information (actor names, writer names, director's name, etc.) must be included at the bottom of your poster for a more authentic look. For an example of this you can check out a XF2 poster I created back in 2005 by clicking here.
