Unfair? Frustrating? Annoying?

Why does it sound like Keanu is talking about me in the first person? Nah, I’m just kidding, but in terms of today’s comment it may apply.
Is it unfair, frustrating or just downright annoying that a general X-Files forum has decided against giving Robert Patrick and Annabeth Gish the respect they deserve for being the other two lead actors of “The X-Files” series, but hiding discussion folders about them behind a other “Cast & Crew” folder?
I was “fighting” long and hard yesterday to get the admin of this particular discussion forum to create two new folders of discussion. One for Robert Patrick and one for Annabeth Gish. I thought I had a good argument when I brought up the fact that a discussion folder had been created for a THIRD X-Files movie, yes you read that right, a THIRD X-Files movie, and yet the admin felt the need to drag out the decision making process by including a poll for members of the forum to decide for him. Ultimately, as on any general X-Files forum, Robert and Annabeth fans are the minority, so creating a poll for the decision to have folders for them on the main page of the forum is ridiculous. I tried to remain optimistic that fans of Robert and Annabeth would get folders for them right underneath the folders for David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, but alas with 40 votes and “yes” for RP and AG down by TWO votes, the admin decided against it.
I find this extremely unfair to fans of Robert and Annabeth on this forum. I don’t get why the admin and mods took the time to create over 200 folders of discussion for all episodes of “The X-Files”, even episodes that probably won’t get much discussion at all, and a folder for a THIRD X-Files movie, yet getting folders for the other two lead actors of the series was downright impossible for them to do.
Is it unfair, frustrating or annoying? I say all of the above.
It sucks to be a minority fan in this fandom. Everything will always be about Gillian, David and the MSR, everything else gets treated as if it doesn’t even matter.
Having said all that I do have to give credit to the admin, he has said if there are enough posts in the Robert folder that he’d move the folder to the main forum page. So I’ve gone and done what I can to recruit more Robert/Doggett fans to the forum in the hopes of getting Robert recognized and respected on the forum, so if you’re a Robert Patrick/Doggett fan, please consider joining up at XFU if only to participate in the Robert Patrick folder, I have a feeling that will be the folder I’ll be posting in most often since Robert is my passion in “The X-Files”. Honestly, I don’t know why you go to X-Files general boards. There is never any respect even though they all claim they are open minded and friendly. It’s a joke that XFU is called the “friendly” boards if you ask me. You can’t be friendly when there are that many x-philes on there.
It is insane that a folder for a 3rd XF movie is on there. That’s not going to happen so really it is a waste of space. Robert and Annabeth would get more discussion than that…. on a normal forum.

To be honest XFU forums is more friendly than that other hellhole I was on once. I think instead of “friendly” perhaps a take on the word “tolerable” would be more like it.
Yes, I totally agree with you about a folder for XF3 - which doesn’t exist - being on the main forum page and not a folder for Robert and Annabeth. And yes, there are more discussions (replies) for RP and AG in their respective folders than there is in the XF3 folder.
TXF can be such a pain in the arse sometimes.
